RSSSurf v1.0

RSSSurf is a really neat application for “kiosk” type setup. It will take a list of RSS feeds or URL and will automatically “surf” those pages at a set interval.

This can be very handy. For example, you can display corporate news on a TV connected to a Mac in a lobby or a kitchen. This way staff can read the information as it rotate from page to page. You could also display content to customers visiting your location and keep them informed of your products and specials.

The application is very simple to use. It consist of a “web browser” like window with minimal control that you display on a large TV or monitor:

tvand a “Preferences” window to add and remove RSS feeds and URL:

The application will “walk” through the list of RSS feeds and URL you have organized using the Preferences list. This essentially create a digital signage where you can display events information, restaurants menus, store sales information, etc, etc.

If you have ideas for things you would like the application to do please leave me feedback using the following link and I will be happy to see if I can add it to the next update: support@netputing.com
