hueShow for your Philips hue lights

I bought some Philips hue lights a week ago to create some christmas lighting effects outside my house. I wanted the lights to change colour at set intervals on a given schedule (like from 16h30 to 4h00 AM). Unfortunately I could not find an application in the Apple App Store that would allow me to do this… so I decided that I needed to write one on my own.

I therefore created hueShow, a no frills application that will apply lighting presets and basic configuration to your Philips hue lights. This application run on your Mac and it will keep applying light changes even if you are not at home to control them. It will turn lights ON and OFF following a given schedule.

You can customize the light brightness, the overall saturation and the time to change colours. This is just the beginning. If you have ideas for lighting presets send them my way and I will try to add them in future updates.

I am offering 10 promo codes if you own a Philips Hue and are interested to give the application a try 😉 Simply send me an email at

Issue with license email being filtered as SPAM

Many of you have reported issues with receiving your license emails after donating or after recovering the license. I think some spammers have recently user our domain name as part of a SPAM campaign and as a result many ISP are blocking email from our domain as SPAM.

I wish I could do something about it but apparently every ISP use different antispam software and it is next to impossible to clean-up this mess. I have put all the SPF, DKIM records possible in the DNS for the domain. I hope this will help flush things up.

In the mean time if you have donated and have not received your license within minutes of Paypal clearing the payment then send me an email at “” and I will look for the license in the database.

Be sure to send me your Paypal transaction # and Paypal ID you used to make the donation.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience this SPAM issue is causing.

P.S.: If you have ideas on how to get this SPAM problem fixed globally I would be pleased to ear about that too 😉
