hueShow for your Philips hue lights
I bought some Philips hue lights a week ago to create some christmas lighting effects outside my house. I wanted the lights to change colour at set intervals on a given schedule (like from 16h30 to 4h00 AM). Unfortunately I could not find an application in the Apple App Store that would allow me to do this… so I decided that I needed to write one on my own.
I therefore created hueShow, a no frills application that will apply lighting presets and basic configuration to your Philips hue lights. This application run on your Mac and it will keep applying light changes even if you are not at home to control them. It will turn lights ON and OFF following a given schedule.
You can customize the light brightness, the overall saturation and the time to change colours. This is just the beginning. If you have ideas for lighting presets send them my way and I will try to add them in future updates.
I am offering 10 promo codes if you own a Philips Hue and are interested to give the application a try 😉 Simply send me an email at support@netputing.com
Hello,
thank you for your great work!
How can i create my own Presets? Is it possible to select bulbs?
thanks
FloZi
Hello FloZi, currently there is no option to configure your own preset. If you have an idea for new presets I can probably implement them. Simply let me know and I will see. Regarding individual lamp config this is next on my todo list 😉 I have to learn a bit more about xcode and tableview programming.
